Jeff's Autographs and Thoughts

I moved to the Rio Grande Valley 4 years ago this past May. I had collected autographs on and off since I was 7 years old, and with the lack of social life I have here; I've picked it back up again and made many great online friends and picked up quite a few new 'graphs in the process. This blog is meant to both share my successes/failures and if its important, what's on my mind.

Deep-Roy

They say big things come in small packages in this case its true. I thought the Charlie and The Chocolate Factory movie was just ok. The story was a little out there, but the acting by each of the kids, the grandparents, and this man made the movie worth watching. Deep-Roy played all of the Oompa Loompas, and diffrent from the original Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, the Oompa Loompas have learned a variety of musical genres. I received this dual 8x10 photo signed and inscribed to me from Deep-Roy, whose website is www.deep-roy.com.

Blaine Larsen

Today's first autograph came from up and coming country music artist Blaine Larsen. For only 19 years old, Blaine is off to a great start as a future country music legend. He hit the country music charts earlier this year with the hit single "How Do You Get That Lonely" and his debut album kicked off with a bang. For more information on Blaine, check out www.blainelarsen.com. He was also kind enough to send me this great 8x10 color photo signed to me.

Monday, Monday

It seems that things just never seem to go right on Monday. Monday is pretty stressful day for me at work, so I look forward to the mail coming. When I got to my mail center at my condo complex, I noticed that there weren't any of the usual manila envelopes waiting for me in the "big mail tub", so when I put my key into my regular mailbox, I was confused as to why it was jammed; well the mailman decided to roll all my mail into a ball and shove it in there, crunching my bills, as well as the two autographs that came for the day. I'll be off to the post office to complain tomorrow. I'm a firm believer in "if you're going to do a job, do it right"....
