The Oscar Nominees are in
Hopefully, I'll get an autograph of every category represented but in the Best Supporting Actor category, the nominees for the 2006 Oscars are Jake Gyllenhaal for "Brokeback Mountain", Matt Dillon for "Crash", George Clooney for "Syriana", Paul Giamatti for "Cinderella Man" and William Hurt for "A History of Violence". I've only seen "Crash" and "Brokeback Mountain" so far, and both Jake and Matt did fabulous jobs in their perspective roles. I'm kind of rooting for Paul Giamatti because I just think he's fabulous in everything he does and always seems to get overlooked! My Best Supporting Actor Winner Success came from Chris Cooper who won an Oscar in 2002 for his role in the off the wall movie "Adaptation". Chris is one of those actors who gets quality role after quality role but many don't even recognize him by name or face. He is such a chameleon when he is acting and usually not the front runner in anything he's in. He just blends into his character. The sign of a true actor!
